This piece was a collaborative effort between myself and Olivia “Liv” Burks. I had first discovered Liv on Instagram about half a year ago, and have greatly enjoyed seeing her rise in prominence as an artist in this city. I was thrilled when she agreed to this project, and I wanted to make sure we could incorporate her incredible figure drawings. This piece was meant to be all about relaxation, and the sunset tones and waves bring lovely memories of being on vacation. I greatly appreciated having to push out of my comfort zone embracing bolder black lines, but I think the end product speaks for itself.
